We create meaningful experiential education programs for young people, using the diverse and inspiring wilderness of New Zealand as a platform. Design Process
Our design process involves a lot of listening. We listen to what the needs of your group are and how we can bring alive and embed your curriculum into an ExpedNZ program. We will ask you to specify learning objectives and goals. We in turn tailor the program and activities to elevate these objectives.
Programs are tailored to the number of days and group size that aligns with partner program needs. 10-15 days and between 10 and up to 40 students are the more typical program lengths and sizes.

Unique Opportunities
ExpedNZ is unique in the program options we can offer international groups. We are the only outdoor provider in New Zealand to deliver such a range of adventure based activites, paired with New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) accreditation and National Park concessions. We have a 35 year history of delivering impactful experiential education focused programs for New Zealand youth.
To create education magic we align our international programs with our New Zealand programs. What this means is your students have a truly immersive and authentic cultural exchange. This is where we see the transforming and positive impact of experiential learning come into effect.

ExpedNZ is the international division of Whenua Iti Outdoors, our not-for-profit parent education organisation. Our primary focus is education not tourism, our mandate is social not commercial. 100% of profit from ExpedNZ programs goes to the Whenua Iti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the organisation.
